Montessori Curriculum
Practical Life:
Life skill activities include, self-care activities, environment protection activities, social skills activities.
Senses:
Aims at the development of the five senses of the child:
- Motor visual sense (cylinders with a handle, syphilis tower ...)
- The sense of touch (touch panels ...)
- The sense of hearing (sound boxes)
- Sense of taste (taste bottles)
- The sense of smell (bottles to sniff)
Language, reading and writing (in Arabic and English):
It aims to develop the language skills of the child and the introduction of early primary rules in writing and reading gradually from the abstract to the concrete:
Listening: (storytelling ....)
Speech: (Conversation and discussion ....)
Vocabulary: (language cards).
Reading: (language games ...)
Writing (writing names and the use of audio knowledge to write words ...)
Math:
We aim at developing the mathematical skills of the child: Numbers, engineering, measurements.
Environmental and cultural materials:
It encourages the love of exploration and observation, science, plant and historymaterials, scientific experiments, the world around us and the solar system.
Creative materials:
It includes visual arts, art technologies, materials and tools, visual arts projects, music and movements, music- basic techniques, theater and drama.
Physical Education:
represented in the yoga classes for kindergarten children by three days a month and exercise four days a month.It aims to develop social relations and communication through the exercise of collective games that develop large and small motor skills (min).
In addition to that, there is the activity of "circle time" at which the child learns from the outside world and recognizes several things. It includes various activities such as songs, art activities and music, as well as celebrations and special events.
